Job description

We are currently handling a newly created role working as Commercial Manager for a well-known brand in the luxury travel sector. This role will be instrumental in supporting the development of their distribution strategy and its execution, using all collected data, providing insight and analysis to senior managers.  A clear communicator is required, to develop good internal relationships with various departments including the call centre, sales, revenue and marketing team.  Good written and proposal skills are required to interpret the data and present findings in a clear narrative. They are also looking for candidates who will help develop innovative commercial strategies to improve performance.

  • Highly commercial with a sound knowledge of all the relevant technologies and tools for interrogating data and numbers
  • Strong team leadership and relationship building skills
  • Ability to understand and work with various company stakeholders in a matrix environment
  • Commercial experience gained in a travel environment would be useful but not essential
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced international working environment
  • Good problem solver and the ability to look beyond the numbers
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills- able to communicate in a concise manner.
  • MS Excel to intermediate or advance level, good understanding of PowerPoint
  • Experience of database tools an advantage e.g. Hyperion Insight
